Our client was challenged with evaluating the logistics IT portfolio, thus limiting its ability to develop improvement proposals for new technologies, improving existing technologies, and more effectively and efficiently maintaining such technologies. Integral to the delivery of an effective solution was the development of performance metrics and a quantitative evaluation process for IT portfolio health, based upon not only capability, but also a proposal’s alignment and value within the USMC logistics environment.
Our custom-built Logistics IT PFM tool and Process Modeling & Simulation Framework enables the USMC to not only ensure the most informed acquisition decisions, but also continuously evaluate processes related to the management of IT systems in real-time.
