SENIOR DEVSECOPS ENGINEER
OPEN POSITION
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will join Boulevard’s skilled technology development team to drive the secure deployment and management of analytical solutions across a range of domains and use cases. Specifically, some of the great things you do will include the following:

Work with the development team in deploying scalable micro-services using Kubernetes.

Drive the development of CI/CD software pipelines.

Coordinate with the government-designated infrastructure provider to provision and maintain automated deployment pipelines to release patches and updates to the software applications.

Implement clean and maintainable infrastructure-as-code that adheres to industry best practices.

Ensure monitoring and health of the resources deployed.

Work within the AWS cloud ecosystem to configure and deploy optimized infrastructure.

Automate cloud native technologies, deploy applications, and provision critical infrastructure.

Work with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.
WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH
You support Boulevard’s data science and product development team, based out of Arlington, VA, in shaping and building new analytical solutions to deploy in support of our defense clients. You’ll interface regularly with Boulevard leadership as well as leading national security and defense executives.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You’re an experienced DevSecOps Engineer with an in-depth background in Kubernetes to support the development of analytical solutions for our DoD customers. You have knowledge of cloud environments like AWS, virtualization, automation and DevOps technologies like Kubernetes, Microservice Architectures and Container Management Systems like Docker.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Able to qualify for a (Department of Defense) DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

BS Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics-related discipline.

2+ years of experience systems or software engineering.

Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity and Authority to Operate (ATO) protocols.

Knowledge of containers and security technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline).

Self-starter who can work as part of a partly-virtual team and remain motivated in a dynamic environment.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
-
2+ years of experience in relevant analytical methods serving DoD clients.

2+ years of experience with infrastructure as code, terraform, packer, ansible.
-
Active DoD SECRET Clearance.

Experience with Python (e.g., Django) and/or JavaScript (e.g., React) web frameworks, is a huge plus.

Knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure products and services.

Experience interacting with Platform One deployment solutions (e.g., Party Bus).
WORK LOCATION
This position is remote with the option to work in-person in Arlington, VA
